2009 RXV Brake Lever
I am trying to familiarize myself with different aspects of my cart...I noticed on the drive motor at the brake end there is a lever...I would assume this is to manually take the brake off....is there a method of unlocking this lever and keeping it locked off if I have to use it..and vice versa putting it back to the normal position..thanks again

Re: 2009 RXV Brake Lever
Don't mess with that lever, it is spring loaded for a reason. If you "locked it open" you would have absolutely zero brakes. And whatever you do, don't push the lever toward back of cart, immediate brake damage will result. That lever is only there for short distance emergencies like "get it from middle of road to edge of road". I believe the "average guy" should never even touch that thing, better chances of doing harm than good. I suggest putting run/maintenance switch to maintenance & keyswitch in neutral to move it. Then you can at least just turn the key off if in a panic situation.
