Just bought an EZ GO need help
Hi all glad to have found you. I just bought a metal body four stroke (has valves) for a hundred bucks of craigslist. It runs real nice but it needs a drive belt and even with all of your posts about ID location I cant find one. I need to figure out what year it is so I can get the right belt.
Is there a way to measure for the right belt? Will |

I think there is an id tag in the glove box area? the last 2 digits of the manufacture code is the year & that should be enough, unless she's modified.

Will, Do you have the old belt? or is it missing? There should be numbers on the belt, or your parts store can measure it.

Will........ The really older E-Z-GO's ID plates are under the seats, drivers side on the left rear wheel well in the battery compartment If you don't find it under the passenger glove box.

Re: Just bought an EZ GO need help
If it's a 4 stroke then it should have a manufacturing code in or near the pass side glove box. post a pic if no number, then we can help.

Re: Just bought an EZ GO need help
The identification tag should be on passanger sideunder glove box area or in it. Some of the 4 strokes have a tag right on the engine. The problem I see is I did not think any of the 4 strokes had metal bodies.
