Battery Question
I am brand new at this and just want to check with the pros on battery voltage. I charged the cart up 2 days ago and I just checked the battery condition. All batteries have a reading of 6.3 - 6.32 volts. Sounds ok to me, I am just curious. Its a 36v cart, 2006 txt series. I paid $1800.00 and runs good.
Thanks in advance Checkers |

Re: Battery Question
If they are all within .02 volts of each other after two days, that is a good balanced battery pack. Real question is how they discharge? Static voltage really doesn't say anything about performance, but they do seem to be well within. what you would expect...

Re: Battery Question
Welcome to forum!
How about a digital battery meter there? You don't want to let the batteries to go down a lot! |

Re: Battery Question
To get the longest useful life from your batteries, Never run them them down below 50% charge capacity. Use the chart below .... 100% readings should be taken 1 hour after the charger shuts off to allow voltages to settle.

Re: Battery Question
Thanks for the quick reply. As a follow up question how often should i charge the cart as I ony run it once a week or so for abour 5 miles. Also during the winter months I will not be using the cart. What is the best way to keep my batteries up to snuff, my cart is in a heated garage.
Thanks again, Checkers |
