Please tell me exactly what you did to resolve this issue. I’m having the exact same issue. I have a 2017 also with 14,000 miles. It did have good pickup but has gradually gotten worse.
Thanks

Remove skid plate, unbolt the "cap looking thing" from the very end of the tail pipe, throw cap in trash can. Reinstall skidplate, done.

When this thread started, I had not encountered this problem yet, since then I have done a few.

I’ve got the same problem as you had. I’ve got a 2017 Yamaha with 14,000 miles. Used to run strong but has become increasingly sluggish. Please tell me exactly what you did to eliminate this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Stupid "cap thing" (suppressor), and the junk I picked out of it, clogging it up.

Lol, did not reinstall suppressor.

Quietech does not approve.

No, it does not make it noticeably louder, as far as I can tell.

Are you talking about the mesh end cap on the end of the exhaust pipe? or does this require disassembling the muffler in some some way?

I find that mesh end cap gets clogged and if you just remove it, they cart goes back to full power.

The problem I'm having now is excessive exhaust fumes... did you have an issue like this?
