Default 07 fairplay broke

I have been on here for 3 hours trying to find the right tread forum i have been yelled @ for being in the wrong tread whatever.. I'm a female don't know nothing about gcarts.lol here goes i have a 07 fairplay i bought 1 week ago .. It won't start up. won't go foward or backwards. lights work no clicking noise nothing... what i did noticed that this white rectangle bar was black and very very hot .. i found out that was called a recessor.. please help me to fix this cart.

HA! You weren't yelled at for being in the wrong forum. It makes complete sense to ask a Fairplay question in a Fairplay section...NOT the harley davidson section which is what you were asked to do. Your probly going to have to take some pictures. I have never heard of a "recessor". Usually when things get hot its from a loose connection or bad cable. I'd start by checking ALL the cables to make sure they are clean and tight....and maybe snap some pics of that stuff.

thank you. This is new to me forums treads..lol This guy @ the campground called it A recessor or processer. it is white rectangle with 2 wires one on each side that connects to the synoid sorry for the spelling .. that was so hot that i burned my fingers after sitting over night i checked it in the mornong it was still hot.so this guy dsconnected it. the fair play is a 5.5 whatever that means.48 volt

Are you sure he didn't call it a 275 ohm resistor, Sally ?

Do you have a digital voltmeter? I think the cartfixer knows something about Fairplay he is on the board nearly everyday ......

I am from OHIO and for the volt meter if they are not expensive i can buy one or borrow one .when i bought the cart a week ago they gave me many extra parts ,but i don't know what they are.ex. they gave me a extra synoid, motor, axtel, control box ,tires.ignition roof. brakes.
I just want to fix the cart.thank you for helping me .I will try everything you tell me ty ty ty for your time..
