Tires Rubbing
2014 Club Car Precedent. Installed heavy duty leaf springs a few weeks ago. Last night we had 3 adults (none that I would consider an oversized human) and tires were still rubbing on corners. I would like to do a 3-inch lift, probably a drop spindle. The use of the car is running around town with an occasional trip to the farm where it sees mild logging roads and gravel driveways.
I am currently running 18.5 tires on 10-inch rims. I would eventually like to run 20-inch tires but no need to go bigger. My question - If I go with a 3-inch spindle will this widen by stance or do I need spacers? I would like to widen the stance a little for stability. Advice - GO! |

Re: Tires Rubbing
Not 100% sure, but I had a 2011 Precedent and did the same thing. I definitely needed spacers.
