Help! Clunking noise
1991 CC DS as a base. Need some help Please. I built a "mountain cart" which has a high torque engine. Built in my home garage and shipped to our hunting camp. Has all the heavy duty parts...F/R switch, solenoid, controller etc...
Here's the issue. We were driving down the mountain and all of the sudden rear wheels locked up and I stopped. Put it in reverse and not problem. Went into forward again it drove but now I notice a clunking noise. I don't notice any loss of power. I have a limited slip differential kit installed as well. Engine issue or differential? I raised the cart rear and depressed the pedal. Put my hand on the engine and differential. Vibration/clunking is much more pronounced from the engine. Thoughts? Thank you all |
