It runs again! It turns out the starter I put on was hooked up wrong and was turning the motor in the wrong direction. Instead of turning counter clockwise as you are on the drivers side looking at, it was turning clockwise. Long story short, I rewired it and it fired right up and runs perfect. I hope you can fix yours too.

With only 11 hrs it shouldn't need valves adjusted, has someone worked on it lately?
I never though about someone hooking a starter up backwards. batteries put in backwards happens but you loose spark after it cycles 1 time

Heath, can you tell us the story of this new ST. I mean 11hrs and now it's not running doesn't make any sense. what's been done to it, has it set for the last 2 years, a little more info other than it doesn't start may help. I wouldn't change/swap the engine in a cart that has 11 hrs if I could help it. Have you done a wet and dry compression test on it?

I had an intermittent non running problem that developed into a total non running problem.

I fixed my problem by going through the wiring harness and replaced all the connectors. I also removed the electric system bracket, bead blasted it, acid etched it, and cleaned all the mechanical ground connections. I think there was enough resistance through rust and galvanic corrosion to weaken the ignitor. I've got a good fat spark and haven't had a problem since.
