Default Txt slow in forward

My 07 txt acts like the batteries are drained while taking off in forward. But put it in reverse and the unit rolls out. All this happens even though the cart has a Fresh Full charge. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreaciated.

Sounds like the contacts on the F/R switch....assuming its a series cart. (F/R switch right, below the knew, not a switch on the dash)

Alright,,,,,, I got it figured out. It turned out to be a cracked battery clamp that the po installed. Put a replacement on the cart and she runs just fine.

Looks like I have a pretty new Curtis pmc. Controller. Part #73326g07. All connections seems to be good. Also looks like a news solinoed. I'm currently awaiting for a service manual to arrive and at this point stumped. I'm new to the whole buggy/electrical world. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should check next? I'm thinking I'm gonna change the f/r switch just for giggles.

well we currently don't know for sure which model you have and if the controller is the right one......

the controller you have listed is one for a TXT PDS cart......do you know FOR SURE whether your cart is a PDS cart or not??

if not......look at this thread and report back as to which model you have.

Basically, with a PDS cart, all the same components are used in both Forward and reverse.
(The difference between F and R is the direction of current flow in the field windings, which is switched inside the controller)

Check for worn through insulation on the F1 & F2 wires where they are routed around the battery box frame.
