Default from resistor coil to solid state

I need to change my g9 to solid state drive. I drive at very low speeds for up to an hour at a time and we all know my resistor cart won't do that for long without burning up something. I burned up the pot box (wiper switch) and it's now either wide open or stop. I have a used ezgo controller and solenoid, getting ready to order a universal pot box. I need to know what wiring diagram should I reference to get the wiring right. I have no idea what I'm doing!! Any help would be appreciated!!!!
