83 CC forward slow
neighbor has a 83 36v CC at full charge it goes slow in forward but fast backward ... wires have NOT been changed .. batterys are good... this started today .. any ideas ??

When I had this issue, I traced it to the Forward connection on the F&R switch being connected to only 3 or the 6 batteries.
I ended up looping the forward connection to the same connection the reverse used on the batteries. This means I had both directions connected to all 6 batteries. I hope this helps |

thanks it's wired like that but wires are old ...replacing them this weekend

The 83 club Car came with an 18 volt or half speed hookup of 3 batteries powering the reverse to slow it down in the reverse function.
