Ruff & Tuff won’t move

I have a 2009 Ruff &Tuff 48 Volt Hunter. After a short ride with fully charged batteries my car would not move but about a foot. I had stopped and placed the car in reverse; I heard click wheels moved 1/4 turn and then nothing. Tried in forward and reverse. I noticed the Controller status light lit. Pulled it home check batteries and cables pack charge 49.1 v. Recharged batteries to over 50 volts rechecked connections all good but noticed the status light on controller it is no longer lit. Pressed accelerator same results tried to move and cut off. Raised rear end tried again same results. All the accessories work. I am about ready to junk this and cut my loses. There is very little info available on Ruff & Tuff. Thanks all info is appreciated.
