Default Silent Beast Older Hunting Buggy

My Dad just purchased a older Silent Beast hunting golf cart. I think the model is DC 20. We need to purchase some parts. To start we need an accelerator cable. How can you tell what kind of cart this is?.... It looks like an EZGO. Where can I find some manuals? How can I determine exactly what kind of cart we have? We have found a serial number..... how can you tell what year model it is?? Any help would be appreciated greatly! Thanks in advance....

Welcome to BGW. I see the ID tag in the passenger glove box. The last 2 digits of the manufacture code is the year it was made...... Looks to be a late 90s cart?

Is it gas or electric?

His thread is titled "silent beast" so it MUST be electric.

If the rocker switch on the silver dash panel controls F/R, the carts is based on an EZGO PDS cart. Is it 4WD?

Hey thanks for the reply. I am begining to think it's made in China. Talked to Beast today....said the Silent Beast was a China unit not made by USA Beast.

It is a 4WD unit....the last two digits on serial number is "01"
Checking on rocker swith on panel...gotta call to find out. Cart is not at my house.

I got this info over the phone last night so it may be the manufacture code instead of serial number.

The first two letters of code (Manufacture code or SS#) was "SB" (Silent Beast?)

It has the F/R switch on silver dash

My guess would be it is a knock off from China. They will copy and produce just about anything you want over there. It could very well be a mashup of cloned parts from Ezgo, Club, Yamaha Etc. Finding OEM parts may be next to impossible but you might be able to find a part that will work from another brand.

I would take the cable off and to a cart shop. They might be able to match it to something.
