93 Marathon
Trying to decide weather I need a motor rebuild (I'm leaning toward plumb quick) or is the controller going bad? Batteries are good 38.? After 12 hr rest. But cart is slow 7 to 8 mph. Talk to a few motor builders who said it could be the controller going bad. How do I check this on a 93 36v marathon?

This is the controller. If I need a new one can someone tell me what I have?

Re: 93 Marathon
You have a curtis 350 amp controller. But I don't think that is your problem. The controller will either work or not. What is your throttle input signal reaching ? It should be 0-5000 ohms. I see some marginally functional battery cables.

Re: 93 Marathon
Throttle input is 0 to 5.5 k. It has been slow since I owned it. New battries new cables still 7 or 8 mph. ?? Can a motor wear out and still work?
