Default Short roof extension

Just curious. Have any of you made a short roof extension say, made of canvas off your original plastic roof to cover the rear passenger seat? Maybe something that would collapse when not in use?

I was recently discussing this with my Mom, she has an upholstery shop, and I think I am going to make a simple frame to bolt onto my roof supports and match the outline of the current top then we will sew up a canvas or similar cover that will go over the current roof and new frame and use either elastic or a draw string to keep it tight. Not sure when I will get around to doing this but hopefully sooner than later!

I designed and patented an extension to solve this problem.

I have a great solution. For some reason I can't post a picture. Just joined the group.
