Default Fishing Rod Holder Ideas?

I am hoping someone out there has a great solution for how to carry my fishing rods down to the pond. I have a 2012 lifted CC Precedent with fold down rear seat/carry all. I can work with wood pretty well.

Make something out of PVC that you can mount to the rear seat folded down or even the foot rest and be removed easily. Holds the rods vertically.

I'd use long twist ties to carry them just under the roof attached to the struts.

The flying bridge attachment is awesome! I have some 5 foot pieces of PVC that I bought to use as rollers for a hot tub move. Maybe 8 inches in diameter. These might work well to hold several rods. I have been wanting to paint one of them like an ACME rocket or big stick of dynamite from Roadrunner and Coyote cartoons.

Thanks for the ideas!

Bass Pro has a 2, 3 or 4 rod holder made of ABS plastic. I have a 4 holder on my Club Car at the lake. ..works great and inexpensive.

That's on the list of things to do next spring. I was planning on attaching it to the grab bar on the back flip seat and painting the whole thing matte black. Where did you attached yours so I don't overlook something (which I do often )

I'll have to get a pic.. but what I did was mount the rod holder on the outside of the arm rest of the back seat. That way the rods don't rub on the roof and the kids can still sit back here.
