Re: Yamaha G1 "Go-Cart"
She's getting a little bit cleaner.
After some searching, we found J24 code on the engine, so 1983 possibly? Some nimrod welded plates over the serial number stamp. |

Re: Yamaha G1 "Go-Cart"
that's quit the colorful engine
with that boost bottle on the intake its for sure an 83 or later engine. Your forward / reverse solenoids point to that as well. If you inspect your brakes check for a stamping on them as they are probably stamped J24 as well. |

Re: Yamaha G1 "Go-Cart"
Yup, brakes are stamped j24 too.
Aah, ya crack me up...drive through a rainbow... LMAO!!! Daycare....bahahaha!!! I've been wondering if a circus clown, or Pee Wee Herman owned it at some point? Then I seen one night on the back end very faintly, it had a sticker that had been painted over, about 10 times, that makes me wonder, Austin Powers? Yup, its says, "Shaggin' Wagon" Sheeesh! Re: Yamaha G1 "Go-Cart"
A few more progress pics. Has actually been a lot of fun. It has been so long since I've done anything like this. I can't wait to see it finishd....but, I'm definitely taking my time to get it as right as I can.

Well, this happened tonight..
Jake's #6250 5" lift will be here Tuesday! Got old a-arms and stuff off too. Gonna clean and paint/undercoat frame tomorrow hopefully. I'm as giddy as a kid at Christmas now!! Next Friday should be ordering wheels and tires. |
