Default Dupli-Color Perfect Match

I am very glad to have found this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here that will be very useful when I go to paint my cart. I have a question about paint.

In addition to the use of a wax and grease remover, adhesion promoter, scuffing, sanding, etc. it seems to be a large agreement that an acrylic primer, paint and clear should be used on plastic cowls and bodies. Dupli-Color Perfect Match has the color I'm looking to paint my Club Car Alpha body. Their website says that the Perfect Match primer, paint and clear coat are an acrylic lacquer. Will this Dupli-Color Perfect Match be okay to use since it's an acrylic LACQUER? Will there be any flaking or cracking with any movement of the cowl or body if they are prepped properly? Has anyone else had any experiences (good or bad) with this paint? I don't have much experience with acrylics and wasn't sure if the lacquer will cause this paint not to work on plastic golf carts. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Yes, I used the Duplicolor perfect match in Ford Shadow Gray to paint my cart a few years ago. No cracking and still looks awesome under all the dirt and mud

I clean the body really well, sprayed adhesion promoter, primed, painted then cleared.

I will say, I didn't like Duplicolor's clear coat at all. It really dulled the paint after drying.

This clear coat is awesome and holds up great to abrasions and supposed to be resistant to chemicals. I used it in high gloss and 4 cans cover the front and back body pieces with 3 good coats.

I found the same result with duplicolor clear coat from HVLP gun (not in an aerosol can). It does look good after a lot of work, but orange peel is much worse than others I've used and it dulls. Looks great in the end, but takes twice the work to wet sand, buff, and polish than other more expensive clears.
