Default Western

Now that I have the bug with my new '90 EZ-GO Marathon, I found this little jewel and feel I should strike while opportunity has presented it's self.

It's a 48 volt Western 6 seater limo type. There are no batteries in it and the charger is not included.

I've priced these online and they appear to be high end carts ($2,000 -$6,00 used for 2 seater). The guy wants a thousand for it.

Opinions?

Are you in Tucson? I saw it on craigslist myself, and was very tempted, other than I'm too darn broke! :)

It's a bargain in my opinion, get it.

Yeah, I just wanted to post here first and see if Western had a bad rap or something. I have a wife and four kids so this would be perfect for us to cuise the community in. It'll work out good 'cause I'll still have my gasser to tinker and go off road and this one to ride the streets.

OK, let me go pick a gun to sell and buy the thing.

They're great high end carts built on an EZGO chassis. Pretty simple stuff and well worth a grand. I have a Western model 400. After you buy it and need any questions answered, fire away. I'm pretty familiar with these. If you need more wire wheels, I even have some with the Western logos on the caps.

The one I went and test drove a few months ago was pretty nice. It was a 42v cart, but it was WAY faster than any of my current 36v carts. I was impressed with it, for both speed and quality.

The limo would definitely be well worth the investment!

Mine's a 42v model, 1 piece, all fiberglass body with the stock, fleet 36v 2.5HP high speed motor and 8:1 gears, low-pro tires on 10" wheels, runs 21mph.
