ezgo 1983 MARATHON part
Hi!
I have a 1983 ezgo marathon and ezgo no longer makes or sells brake adjusters for this cart. The brakes will not work without it. Does anyone know if there is a company that still sells older ezgo parts? |

What parts do you need? I have a complete set of late model brakes from the backing plate to the hubs for $50.00 for a set. I just about bet they would bolt right up to the axle. Maybe?

Re: ezgo 1983 MARATHON part
Well, I don't know much about golf carts - my husband replaced cables, and the brake shoes in the rear. Gulf Carts of Texas said I need brake adjusters. A rep from EZGO said these were bolts kind of shaped like an ice cream cone and they no longer fabricate them. Any advice is appreciated! I just put 800 into new batteries, brakes on both sides and cables. HELP! :)

Here are some pictures of the brakes I have. You get all of this. LMK if this is something you may want to do.

Re: ezgo 1983 MARATHON part
Andy - so what is a brake adjuster? Sorry for the possibly dumb question....:) I can't seem to find the technical description of it.
