36 to 48 volt upgrade
Whatkind of addtional run time could I get out of my 97 TXT if I upgraded to the 8 volt batteries or if I upgraded by adding two additional 6 volt batteries. Any input would be greatly appreciated. My cart specifics are in my signature.

Re: 36 to 48 volt upgrade
Going to 48v using 8v batteries should be about even compared to your old 36v pack. Using 6v batteries I would expect about a 25% increase in runtime because you are carrying more lead.

Re: 36 to 48 volt upgrade
unfortunately.... I think you will need a new 48v controller because Logisystems doesn't make a 36-48v unit

Re: 36 to 48 volt upgrade
MMMMMMMm Well that upgrade is for the distant future so I will keep that in mind. Maybe next time I need batteries. I will also have to put a new solenoid on correct? I plan on getting a motor that willrun on both when I upgrade it. Is there anything else that will have to be changed?
