I don't mind 2 strokes, they make good power and easy to work on, they can just be finicky with air/fuel ratios. This one, had over a half inch of play on the connecting rod big end. It had SO much play the piston got beat around in the cylinder and it pretty much ate itself alive. I picked up a predator 212cc yesterday, 30 series clutch is coming today. I will drop it in there down and dirty, just to give the kids something to play with for a while. Then I'll sell it as a cheap "go kart" once they're done with it. I've got whatever parts left from the motor that were good on ebay now, the rest in the scrap bin. |
