No sand use with my cart. Not allowed on beaches in my area. You would need a higher torque configuration for use in sand. I have 2ga cables, but it performed nearly as well with stock cables.

And judging by your location - you have to the gorgeous WHITE sand - we don't have sand like that here. Ours may get loose but never that thick.

Great info. here in St. Peteburg FL the only hill is the Sun Shine Skyway :) And I all ways want MORE speed! 20 ish will keep up with my buddys though.

I have the bandit. Very pleased. Went fron 12 to 23 mph. Descent torque. For the money it's a real deal.

We dropped one in my buddies stock 95 series DS which was torquey before but after would spin the tires from a stop and picked up almost 4 mph. I have also put them in other carts and have to say they are an improvement over stock any day. Now if you are looking for a big difference you probably need to go larger but they make those too
