Exclamation Who wants a wiring challenge? (warning- LEDs again)

Problem: Now that I switched my turn signal assembly to the precedent one I can't get my LEDs to flash again. (New signal uses a 2 prong flasher instead of my 3 prong flasher).

Previously here is how I got my LEDs to flash: Solid state 2 wire LED flasher attached to the "L" of the 3 prong LED flasher. Worked like a champ.

Just hooked up the new turn signal kit and it has a 2 prong flasher, "L" and "X" (no "P") terminals. No matter what combo I try I can't get those LEDs to flash again! I tried everything! Just hooking up the 2 wire flasher does not work.

Any ideas? Don't make me go grab a beer(s) again

My plan- go to auto parts store (again) and buy a 2 prong LED flasher to work along with my other 2 wire flasher.

what does the "P" do on the 3 prong flasher?

https://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(v...SKU=2147002943

This is a 2 prong with that seperate ground wire someone mentioned in the last thread fiasco you had with your LED's a few months ago. It worked in that persons cart...recheck that old thread.

here also--->http://www.imperialinc.com/pdf/Section_E.pdf#page=38

The more im researching and reading about this on the net...you NEED the extra ground wire...looks like this is exactly what you want....you can even see the part # : EF32L

The "P" terminal is normally used to power the "pilot" or indicator lamp. The two terminal LED flasher with the ground wire should solve your issue.

Thats the guy!!! He's the one!!! I couldn't remember your exact screen name. You had posted in an earlier thread that started all my research on LED flashers with the extra ground wire

Thank you, guys. I'm off to auto stores to find one...or get the ACE one.
