Fender Flares on Yamaha Drive
I put some wide tires on my drive rebuild and I am going to need to install fender flares. I bought a set online and they did not come with a template. Has anyone installed these without a template and what was your secret? I am nervous about drilling holes in my cart and these seem like a pain to get lined up correctly.

Just take your time and get an extra set of hands or use tape, the good thing about it, you can not see both sides of your cart at the same time, so if it is a touch off only you will know, also even if it's off after the next mod or a week or two you will forget

If they are pliable at all, get it lined up where you want it, then start in the hole and work your way out. It's way easier to keep it close to what you want than starting at me end and then being way off in the end.

Re: Fender Flares on Yamaha Drive
Get the 3" wide flares. I got mine from a seller in pensacola florida off of ebay. Dont remember the seller company off hand. The flares came with the crummy christmas tree type push pins which were junk. I ended up going to tractor supply and buying about 15$ worth of stainless hardware. Allen head bolts, washers and nylock nuts. I simply had my son hold the flare in place and drill each hole on the opposite ends of the flare. Secured each end with the hardware and made my way up to the center of the flares. Came out great.

Re: Fender Flares on Yamaha Drive
I bought a smaller set that mounts inside of the wheel wells on ebay for $79. they included a template. Super easy install and not so aggressive. I just need them to keep crap from splashing up on those wet days on the course. the look great
