Default What is best way to clean/was original finish

just got a 2004 EZGO Electric golf cart. It still has the original factory finish. Finish looks good but was wondering the best way to clean and protect the finish. I assume a good car wash soap would work but what about protecting the finish from this point forward?

thanks,

I wax mine but I re-painted them, but should be ok with wax.

It just looks like a plastic material so I wasn't sure.

I would try to get some all purpose cleaner that is made for plastics. And then rub some armor all or somthing of that nature to keep it shiney. This wont last as long as a wax, but it makes it look really good!

I know for a fact on Club Car, pretty sure on EZGO that it is clear coat over colored plastic..
