Hello... Interested in building a LiOn powered cart
Recently rode in a friends cart (RXV) that he had done modofieid with a new charge controller, solonoid, and litihium packs out of a Nissan Leaf. It was a thrilling ride to the say the least. Am interested in completing a similar project with my son.

Re: Hello... Interested in building a LiOn powered cart
I have both a 06 CC Precedent thats been completely rebuilt and a 2016 Ezgo RXV. Both have 14 cell Nissan Leaf lithium packs.
Without question go with the EzGo RXV 2012 or newer. In the CC I did the usual Alltrax XCT500A, 500 amp solenoid, 2ga cables ect. The Ezgo is pretty much just a battery swap and reprogramming the controller. 2012 Ezgo switch to the Curtis controller witch can be reprogrammed by BobBoyce that got me a silky smooth throttle and a top speed of 35 mph on 21" tires. The best part is that since the RXV has an AC motor we consistently get 30% more range!!! Good luck on your project. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk |
