Default Another cheap mod

After pricing rear cargo beds and reading a post from a member that was thinking about using an old yard cart for a cargo bed, I decided to build my own too.

So first I started looking for a suitable basket or bed. I looked at the heavy duty wagons, but they weren't strong enough.

I found this for $59

I think I can make it work and for a lot less than $300

good idea ks, are you going to line it with expanded metal or something of that sort to keep things from falling out?

Nice find Killsumptin, seems you like to try and build your things you need like I do. I'm building my own really small bed for my cart because it is only going to used for looks and not functionable. But I cant afford the ones they sell so I will built it. Keep up the good work.

Mines an '86 model. 48" including the fender flares when measured across the rear of the cart directly above the axle.

i like that alum. frame box but I'd like something with solid floor and walls to carry busted bags of fertilizer, etc.
