Default Bringing a jeep body club car back to life - build thread.

I picked up this club car/jeep that used to belong to my wife's uncle for $575.

It looks pretty rough but I think I can make a really nice golf cart out of it.

It doesn't want to load the resized pics for some reason. I hate that photo bucket went crazy. I'm trying to find a good alternative.

Is it visible now?

Perfect! You've got something nice to work with there.
Got a photo of the whole thing?

I know a good golf cart mechanic and he got it running already for me.

Removed the old gas, replaced the spark plug, fuel filter, carburetor, fuel lines, and belts.

It's running great now. All it needs is one tire to be road ready. I have $855 total in for now.

I started pressure washing it, and I'll finish it tomorrow. From how bad it looks in the first pic, it's looking surprisingly good.

I also know a painter that does nothing but golf carts, so, I may disassemble it, clean it, replaced all the rusted bolts and screws, and then have it painted.

Tinypic must be down right now, so I'll try to upload some more tomorrow.

Yeah I didn't realize the custom bodies were so expensive. If I put some nice wheels on it and get the body right, it'll be a very nice cart.
