Default Honda Odyssey project

When i was a youngster i had seen these (both the 250 and 350) and had dreamed of tearing through the woods on one. Fast forward 30 years and i found out a co worker had one(sight unseen) and i had badgered him about for awhile. I dropped it and a year later he tells me he has a trailer for sale and the price was right so i bought. He brings the trailer to me and low and behold he had loaded it up and was giving it to me. Best day ever!

I know its the old fl250 with no rear suspension but man i gotta do something with it. Its missing what i think hooked me on these things, the butter fly steering wheel. It had all the controls on it! gas, brake, lights and engine shutoff. Along with the steering wheel missing the brake caliper is missing along with the cables, the engine is locked up and missing the carb, intake and exhaust. Ive got enough spare parts i can easily put on a G1 engine. I like this idea due to having reverse but the secondary is not setup for this so that's an obstacle. I find it so interesting how much in common this thing has to golf carts. Ill try and load some pics. P.S. Its ugly.

Well... this looks like a pretty cool project!

As for your pic's... the forum, and your phone don't hate you, they just hate each other!
Hold your phone horizontally (top of the phone/earpiece towards your left hand) and THEN take the pic.
when you post the pic, it will upload to BGW correctly!

well to get if off the trailer friday i had to remove the engine as it was locked up. that and the flat tires and no steering wheel didn't help. removed the engine and pulled the spark plug and filled the jug with PBlaster.

Ran the serial numbers on the engine and chassis and they both come up as an 81' so I'm guessing the engine is original to the chassis.

Today i put my extra long Mac ratchet on the clutch bolt to break it loose and the ill be darned i broke the engine free I'm now curious to the condition of the crank assembly and the primary clutch. I'm missing way to many pieces to go stock so if some of parts are decent maybe i can sell them and fund some parts.
