As usual I am always looking around for something new that can go offroad and I came upon this
http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCa...ho_mgator.html I like this one too. The only thing I want to know is the ground clearence and what kind of rear suspension. |

Re: Gator
Looks like a standard Gator 6x4.
I had one with the diesel. It was great, went anywhere. Hauled alot of Hogs in it at the hunting ranch. |

Re: Gator
I've never owned but my dad and his friends head to Arkansas every year and use one of the regular 4x6's when duck hunting. I've heard him comment that it is unstoppable. They ride in about 2 feet of water loaded down with gear to get to the duck blind.

Re: Gator
The m-gator is basically a 6x4 gator on steroids-heavy duty everything. Just like the 6x4, the m-gator has no rear suspension. Just low-pressure tires. Ground clearance is about 6-8 inches. It is meant for serious work, not a plush ride. The only way to stop one is to get all 4 drive wheels off the ground at the same time, such as in deep snow. Price is reported to be in the $20k range. Not intended for the casual user.

Re: Gator
i was able to have one in the 98 99 time when at bragg, the army got them as testing, well besides busting the sheet metal frame, numerus times, the thing never turned while in 6 wheel drive(front wheel locked in, all 4 rear wheels drove via a chain) and when in the sand it ddint go very fast, justkinda plowed through it, very slowly. and the lack of a hydro bed, for a loaded bed, it pretty much got put in the motorpool and ran around there and the birgagde area on gopher runs.give it to a enginner to kill the **** thing. i wasnt impressed with it.
