I did need to add a few angle iron braces to the swing arm around and under factory motor plate. I ran it on stands with the factory rubber isolated motor plate and didnt like the way it was flexing about. It was fine for the 13hp clone motor but not enough for this one. Vibration was a small concern but there is none that I can feel. Its very smooth.

I also have the old 13hp clone and the tuned clutch that goes with it for sale if anyone is looking. Knowing what I know now, I should have skipped that stage and went straight to the sled motor to begin with, already looking for a twin 800cc. LOL

Looks good - That motor runs clockwise?

In the one pic you can see a arrow on top of the motor for engine rotation. If your looking at it from right ( passenger ) side the engine turns counter clockwise.

No, Forward is forward and reverse is reverse.. The engine rotation is the same as my clone and also same as factory engine.

1996.5 was the change over to a counter clockwise rotation.

My current engine
From the flywheel side it turns CW
From the clutch side it turns CCW

My cart is a 1987, before they changed to CCW engines.
