Default Rupp TR 440-3 into a 87 Club Car

Well I grew bored with the clone swap I did a few years ago and had this 1973 rupp 440 I have been tripping over on the shop floor, so I decided to put it to good use. Pulled the 13hp clone out and stuck the 40hp sled motor in. I purchased the larger driven clutch and used the stock clutch from the motor. Went to the local parts store and searched for the shortest belt I could find. Cost me 50 bucks and works like a champ. Pretty straight forward install without to many issues. I had to raise the motor up about 4 inches to get clearance from starter and also cut the exhaust and flip it upside down to make room. I used the original muffler from the sled, just added about 15 inches of pipe. On the first test ride out I put 2 car lengths on a 600 razor and 2 bus lengths on a 600 Ranger. I'm stoked with the performance and have a blast driving it. So glad I didnt go with the weak 22hp big block swap!!

I'll follow this thread and do my best to answer any questions you guys may have.
