Default tryn to get my cart fixed

I have a cart that has a snowmobile engine in it and it keeps breaking the belt. Is there anyone that can help me.

it keeps eating the belt up when i get on it. can anyone help me with it?

it is a yamaha cart will that belt still work? and the guy said that it had to be 42 inch. thanks for helping me with the find

does anyone know why it keeps eating up the belts? is it to much power or is the belt to short,or could it be that they are not straight in line with each other, does anyone know how to fix it that is in the 7 city's, thank you

clutch alignment and belt size are key.... I blew a Polaris RZR belt into dust on mine when it was not lined up. Pretty impressive actually as I didn't know you could turn a $100 belt to powder LOL

Something that really helps put things into perspective:

Put the rear end up on jackstands and chaulk the front tires REALLY good... Then fire it up and run it through the RPMs while watching what the belt does.

This will tell you whats really going on.

Also -- I like to put a line down both sides of each clutch (inside where the belt rides) with a marker before doing this test.. This will tell you if your getting wide open on the primary, secondary or both..... Make Sense?

And since you are already chewin belts, dont look from directly over the clutches Try to find a safe distance and angle while you watch the clutches work......
