Default 440 Rupp meets Yamaha G1 build

Hey guys. I am attempting to put a 440 rupp nitro motor in my g1. Its all cleaned up and ready to drop in. I don't want it to run crazy fast but I'm just looking to maybe do a burnout. Should I put the clutch that was on the g1 motor on the 440 motor? If so can I even do that and would it match better? Finally I want to use the longer belt that was on the snowmobile that is about an inch wide which is s,aller than the original belt on the cart. So will the skinny belt work on the clutches? Thanks. Don't do the swap. That Rupp engine is so old and outdated you will have more problems than you can imagine. Guys that own the sleds don't even ride them much if at all.

I'd find a better/newer powerplant.

Don't use the stock G1 clutch on the sleds. The engagement and rpm is way too low and you can't adjust that clutch. I'm switching to a comet 94c so I can play with engagement on the Enticer 250 top end on mine.

I'd use the sled clutch and belt, but if its less than 1 3/16 wide belt I might buy a different clutch. You can't find 1" belts hardly only club car use them. Some sled clutches you can adjust for different belt widths.

Some guys here still run mercury sachs 2 strokes in ice sleds, but not daily drivers I suppose they are pretty built up.
