Default 85 marathon driven clutch issues....

Hello i have a 85 marathon with a rotax 583 swap and im have troubles with the driven clutch setup on it i picked up a driven clutch off ebay for a polaris 400l 4x4 quad the splines on the clutch matched up great with the output shaft on my axel. Except for one problem you only get about 1/4" of engagement on the splines in the clutch because the output shaft is so short (1 1/4")so it didnt take long for the splines to strip but i had to give it a shot lol

So what im lookin for is a driven clutch of a polaris or anything really that would madtch up to my output shaft with good engagement. Any one have any good ideas here please help if i search google any longer my head might just explode got plenty of pics if any one needs em
