Default zone electric car battery replacement issues

Does anybody have any experience replacing the batteries on a 2010 Zone cart by Drive Electric? I purchased new batteries but now I find that I cannot remove the rear two batteries. It looks like they welded a frame member across the top and there is no room to get them out. I called the owner of Drive Electric, Zeke. He did call me back but told me tha3t some models came that way and he couldn't help me. He said he had no idea how to get them out and 'basically it wasn't his problem.

Any body have any fixes or recommendations? New to this site so forgive me if I am in the wrong place.

Thanks
Hardhat!

The person who started this thread has not been onsite for near 18 months... Without seeing a pic I can't be sure but anything can be solved by the liberal use of a zip wheel to remove the offending cross-member and then creating a cripple out of it and bolting it back in place...

Cheers Tecero, if the problem can't be solved with an angle grinder and the appropriate attachment it might be best left unsolved.

To the guys with the battery removal problem: on one of my carts it is necessary to remove at least two batteries and slide one forward in order to remove it. Pictures would be mighty helpful at this point.
