Advice on new motor and controller 2010 Star
I have a 2010 Star that I have practically rebuilt. I'm now to the motor and controller part, and have a couple questions. It is originally an XQ-3.8 Shunt motor with a 1268 Curtis controller. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Navitas 600A controller and a new motor (same xq-3.8 ). Is there anything else I should know? Should I be buying a different motor/controller? Is there an Alltrax that would be better? Should I buy from someone specific?
Thanks in advance! |

DC...here is the link:
https://www.navitasvs.com/tsx3 I actually already purchased it as well as the replacement motor and installed this over the weekend. Been pretty good so far, new cables are coming in this week. Thinking of upgrading my solenoid...any suggestions there? |
