Ruff & Tuff
2009 Ruff&Tuff Hunter 4x4 48 volt Curtis 1268-5502
I hope this R&T Thread does not offend anyone. Just imagine it is an EZGO. Last year I replaced the original Curtis Controller after 6 months it failed and I reinstalled the original controller after having it rebuilt. 2 weeks ago the 6 month old controller failed again, I then installed a brand new controller. The fault code 1-2 has been flashing for a year and still flashes with the new controller. I assume the fault is killing the controllers..I have a 3 wire inductive throttle sensor not a typical 2 wire as seen on some EZGOs. 2 of the 3 terminals on the ITS run to the controller the 3rd terminal receives 48 volts when the key switch is on. I have tested everything according to Curtis’ check list. Does anyone have any ideas. I appreciate any and all comments. I do not want run the cart for fear I will burn up another controller. |
