Fairplay Charger made by Lester will not charge new batterys
I have a Fairplay Golfcart with a 48 volt system with 6-8 volt batteries. I installed a new set of batteries this past week. The charger started and ran about 30-45 seconds and kicked off. After some troubleshooting I found that One of the new batteries was bad, after replacing it I drove around to make sure batteries were low enough for the automatic charger to kick in..THE CHARGER will not charge or start After checking LesterElectrical.com website I followed the links provided for the charger repair. My question is can I get rid of the relay which is a 36v DC relay and put in a manual timer to start and to kick off when timer allows? Does anyone kn ow where I can find parts for this Charger? The lester parts list and price page will not load.says it cannot b found Thank You ANY ADVICE ON SOLVING THIS PROBLEM IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
