99 club car ds charging problems
I recently aquired a 99 ds 36 v club car. I`m at my wits end. I purchased new batteries from Napa. Installed them the way I took the old ones out and it worked great, all except the headlights. I bought new bulbs and checked all fuses, they were good, still nothing. Then I noticed the yellow charge indicator light coming on, so I plugged the charger in. The charger pegged at 20 for about a minute and then the charger breaker tripped.I was told to disconnect all batteries and charge them seperately so that`s where I`m at now. All batteries were charged with a 6 v 1.5 amp for 24 hrs each. What do I do next? Could a short in the headlight system be draining my power? I greatly appreciate anyone willing to help.
