Default ezgo controller into 2012 tomberlin Vanish

Bought a 2012 tomberlin Vanish with 100 miles on it.
Most parts of it are like showroom new.
It would go a steady 1mph and that's it, 100 foot drive and the controller and motor would get 200 degrees going 1mph.

Guessing the transistors in the controller are toast. Motor looks great, everything else has 100 miles on it.

Tomberlin has no controllers for sale.
Flight systems industrial products looking for $100 evaluation fee to estimate cost to rebuild Danaher controller. Guessing $800 or maybe more.
No way of testing the board to repair it myself.
No controllers I could find on ebay amazon google etc.

Bought EZGO RXV Danaher ACD controller. Same 23 pin plug and same 5 connectors. u,v,w, and B+, B-.

connected everything, cart will not move.

Trying to make the tomberlin wiring harness/controls work with the ezgo controller and the tomberlin motor.

I have two wiring schematics neither are very helpful accurate or even legible.

Figuring I am going to have to move some of the wiring positions on the 23 pin connector,

If this can be figured out it makes a $400 solution to the "No longer available" motor controllers on these carts (and the similar vehicle the Flambeau ape).

Why not go with the EZGO Curtis controller update from the Danaher controller. Id say a bit more user friendly

if that is "the answer" to this problem I sure could. I want that one moving itself as soon as possible.

I just bought that ezgo controller because it has the exact same connectors and I hoped it would just plug in and drive (also because they are readily available and if it worked it might help someone else with a tomberlin vanish). Ideally I would just buy the correct controller but cant find a single one anywhere.

Is the info available on wiring a Curtis controller?

Where do I purchase?

Thank you for your reply!

Found this instruction (pdf on this post for 350 amp Curtis controller conversion. 117663-rxv-danaher-curtis-conversion-instructions.html#post1268557)

The pdf mentions a conversion harness which must put the wires from the ezgo cart to the correct pins on the Curtis controller.

Hoping I can go from a tomberlin harness and rearrange the pins to the ezgo controller. Even if I have to buy other ezgo components like a throttle pot, it's still worthwhile. If I cant get this going my next option is to part it out.

Looking for better copies of the wiring diagrams for each tomberlin vanish and ezgo rxv.

Gave up on the ezgo controller into the vanish. Having the stock controller rebuilt and going to see if that solves the problem. If it wont go with stock tomberlin drivetrain, it might get Yamaha gas or golf cart electric rear axle.

I have the same problem with my 2012 Vanish. Just wondering where did you get the Vanish controller rebuilt and did it solve your problem?

Put the original Danaher controller back in the cart and get back to the original problem (running slow)

Check the encoder A and B signals on pins 5 and 6 respectively. You should see pulses that vary between 0 volts and 5 volts on both pins when the wheels are turning.

If the pulses are missing on either pin, check the wiring between the 23 pin plug and the encoder. If wiring is OK, replace the encoder. On an EzGo cart with the Danaher controller, the encoder would be a bearing inside the motor. EzGo carts with a Curtis controller have a different encoder that is much easier to replace without removing the motor. Check to see what type you have.
