Curtis 1268 Controller - Bypass HPD or Turn Off?
On a curtis 1268 controller, can you bypass the HPD fault somehow or disable it? My OEM Level Curtis programmer apparently can only "see the fault" and clear the fault, but in the parameters I CANNOT disable it from what I can see.
Any ideas? |

Re: Curtis 1268 Controller - Bypass HPD or Turn Off?
It isn't a detection that can be turned off. A select few model numbers have a % threshold that can be adjusted to a point but not turned off. I doubt the one you have is one of them. I would be called "HPD Threshold" or something like that. If you are getting this error most likely you need to adjust your throttle settings or check to make sure your pedal switch is functional. Below is a link to the manual, and page 6 has the IO listings. Pin 8 should have battery volts when the pedal is pressed. If not check continuity.
The fault triggers when the throttle input % is over 20 and the pedal switch is not active. If the switch is working your throttle voltage may be off. If your handset is OEM level you should have access to Throttle 0% and Throttle 100% The 0% value may need to be increased by a few tenths of a volt. Ideally you want to be seeing 1% throttle right after the switch closes. https://cdn.curtisinstruments.com/pr..._manual_en.pdf |
