Default Can't get more than 12-13 miles

I am back with basically the same problem I posted last year for my 2008 48SS. Back then it was determined my batteries were bad so I replaced then with Trojan T-875's. I was still not able to get more than ~10 miles so had the batteries tested and they were only charging to ~84%-88%. I took it to my local golf cart shop (the only one in my area and not a Tomberlin dealer) and after testing he determined the charger was the issue so he replaced it with a different DeltaQ charger and the batteries now charge to ~96%-97% and the load test gives it 107 minutes.

I played 18 holes on my very hilly course (~6 miles) and then drove it up and down our street, which is relatively flat, and it started speed limiting at ~13 miles, which matched the battery indicator. The golf shop also said the checked the brakes and spun the wheels and they were fine.

I don't know what else this could be so any suggestions would be most appreciated. Tomberlin has to have the worst customer service in the history of companies as no one can get them to return a call.

Thanks, LoG

I would imagine your brakes are dragging. Try pushing the unit with the parking brake off. If it doesn't want to roll thats the problem. The brake cables run directly under where the holes to drain battery acid are. You can do the math.......

There's a new style cable to replace this issue. I can't imagine why Tomberline hasn't made this recall. The design is dangerous, but just look at the customer service.

You will have to find a dealer. They do not deal with the public.
