I can't remember the name, but back in the early 70's there was an electric lawn tractor. There is quite a following for them and a few collectors club / restorers. AllTrax even has an electrical system upgrade to convert to a controller style system. I don't know if it's the same as in the video, but these I'm speaking of were Yellow...

hell my dada still has one of these! been sitting fro years, he will not give it up. but its not selF propelled though. my father in law has a lawn mower that is gas and it hoovers(meanining ithovers over the gragg and cuts at the same time) i will see if i can find a video for you. it wont be cutting grass til late march anyways!
