Default 500 amp controller

Does anyone have a video running a 500 amp alltrax controller and 4 gauge wires? Any motor.

Just want to get a idea on how much better it is.

A video won't tell you much.
An upgrade to 500a from the stock 275a controller and 4ga from the stock 6ga will add available torque but won't do much for your speed.
What are you trying to accomplish and what do you have now?

I just got this - http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/membe...-ezgo-txt.html

Im wanting to go without it slowing down which the extra torque I get should solve that. Maybe a little wheelie. Just curious about how much I would be looking at. Thought maybe there was a video going up a hill or something out there. I cant seem to find one.

I see you have a PQ motor, do you know what the specs on it are? If you don't, a quick call to PQ would help you tremendously. The people at PQ know their stuff and can advise you on any new controllers you may require.
What controller do you have on it now?
FYI, if you have a programmable controller you can get wheelies out of just about anything.
Be advised, they are extremely hard on parts and breakage is a given.
If you don't have 4ga welding cable, I would start there and see what it does before doing any other mods.
It appears that you have a series cart, 4ga wiring needs to be on battery cables, F-N-R switch and motor.

Bigger is better, havent you herd the comercials...lol

seriously, you will be happy with the controller

and your PQ motor is up to the task BUT i wouldnt bet you will see wheelies

unless you had them wind it for torque

I have the AXE 650 and started with a PQ rewind, while i did see an increase in both speed and torque, just like the guys at pq said, it still wasnt enough

so i ordered a D&D ES-58 and i could not be happier with the performance
and here is what it could do with the PQ rewind
also i used 2 g wires, a high amp contactor, and reworked the F/R switch with 1/4 inc copper lugs

Chevy

Did you also order a larger solenoid for it? I have also installed on a cart a 500amp alltrax with D&D motor ES-52-58, nice take off and decent speed.
