Default Cartin' with snakes

Check out who I found hanging out on my favorite trail.

It's a copperhead I think. Probably should have killed him on the spot.

Yep. That's a copperhead. Seen/killed quite a few around our place.

Sure it is a copperhead?That snake doesn't have slit eyes.They are round.All the ones in the pictures from the other site but the markings are very similar.I'm no snake expert but it looks like a banded water snake according to that site..

Tis true! There are other ways of taking care of rats. 9MM. 30-06, 22mag, a good dog or cat.
