Talking Creek hill climb

I took my kids to the creek, which I used a the perfect excuse to test out how good my cart was doing. I still need to redo the drive clutch but I'm pretty happy with the way the cart drove.

1. Nothing broke
2. Made it up all the hills and trails.
3. The new pipe sounds pretty good to me.

Let me know what you think

I know but I promise the hill is bigger than it looks on the video. And remember I'm working with a stock motor .

I've been debating seatbelts but without a roll cage it seems potentially more dangerous than helpful.

I know what you mean about the seatbelts...now you're thinking If I roll the cart they're trapped inside and the cart will land on them. I went with the obvious, I'm more likely to sling the kids off of it on a corner. Get the seatbelts, especially if you're going to add a rear seat. My 1/2 cent.

We just had a non lifted 6 pass club car upside down on top of us(lucky it was 6 adults......well...... 6 people over the age of 18 ). We were all wearing seatbelts. We run the 3" racing lap belts, have a quick release pull tag on them. Yes the cart is heavy when on top of you, but we would have been losing people off the side all weekend with out the belts. There were rocks and trees all over, if we had been tossed, we would have hit those.

The muffler is off of a YZF250 I think (craigslist $20). The rest was built from scrap stainless at my buddies shop (free ish). A friend who is a craftsman with awesome skills (priceless).

I think you're right but the image of my kids trapped underneath the cart is sickening. Kinda like why you don't put a seatbelt on a dirtbike. But truly the likeliness of that happening is way less the slinging one off the side.
