Volt Readings Differ from pack to dash
Hi
On my 2007 Club Car Precedent I'm investigating getting a digital volt meter installed. Was looking at where to wire it and I can piggy back off the existing needle meter. However, I've noticed that the reading off the batteries was 49 volts whereas the reading off existing meter was 48.3 volts. Is this normal or indicative of some sort of issue? I presume/hope the former due to some loss down the smaller cables, connectors, etc. Thanks Guy |
Re: Volt Readings Differ from pack to dash
There is probably a diode in the wire that you are using. Diodes have a nominal 0.6v drop. Find a different wire or pull one of your own.

Dash meter vs multimeter? Could be difference in meters. Low battery in multimeter, resistance somewhere.
