2013 Star No speed stops running
 

2013 Star Golf Cart. Batteries fully charged and tested. Cart will only go about 8MPH. It runs then stops, have to turn off and keep playing with accelerator pedal to get it to move. Replaced speed sensor. Looking for some clues before I take it to the shop.

I had to replace the the big 48V solenoid (they call it a contactor) that is mounted by the motor controller on mine because it was intermittent. The problem I had, is that when I checked by engaging the solenoid manually outside of the cart it appeared to work just fine, but that ended up being the problem, or at least one of the problems
